Every brochure and warranty, on one shelf
42 manufacturer documents for the roofing and siding we install, sorted so you can find an answer in a minute.
Product literature is the paperwork behind a new roof or new siding: the brochures, sell sheets, technical bulletins and warranty documents a manufacturer publishes for every line. We keep the product literature for the systems we install in two libraries, one for GAF roofing and one for CertainTeed siding, so you can read the same documents our estimators use.
A sales page says a shingle is tough. Product literature tells you how tough, what it is rated for, which accessories it needs and what the coverage actually includes. That is the information that helps you compare two quotes fairly, and it is why we hand it to homeowners instead of keeping it in the truck.
Every document is a PDF you can open, save or print. If something in the fine print isn’t clear, call us. Michelle answers 24/7 and can set up a time to walk through it with our team.

Four steps to reading product literature
The same order our estimators use when they compare one system to another.
- 1
Start with the brochure
Brochures show the styles, colors and features that come standard. Note which items are upgrades so you can compare two quotes line for line.
- 2
Check the ratings, not the adjectives
Look for wind ratings, impact class and algae resistance. A number in product literature tells you more than any word on a sales page.
- 3
Read the warranty documents
The brochure summarizes coverage; the warranty document is what applies to your home. Our warranty center and understanding warranties guide walk through the fine print.
- 4
Bring questions to your estimate
We will show you how each piece fits together. Our guide to roofing components is a good primer before we visit.
Product literature, answered
Short answers about the documents in our libraries.
What is product literature?
Product literature is the set of documents a manufacturer publishes for its products: brochures, sell sheets, technical bulletins and warranty documents. It is the most reliable place to check what a roofing or siding line includes.
Can I download these brochures?
Yes. Every document in the GAF and CertainTeed libraries is a PDF you can open, save or print, with nothing to sign up for.
Does a brochure replace the warranty?
No. A brochure summarizes coverage, but the warranty document is what applies to your home. Read the warranty documents in each library and ask us how registration works for your project.
Do you have brochures for windows and doors?
Yes for windows. The Nobility Windows Brochure, the Nobility Windows Warranty and 9 Facts About Vinyl Replacement Windows are linked on this page. We install Masonite doors and bring current door brochures to your estimate.
