How to Use Our Home Visualizer Tool
Our home exterior design center is powered by advanced Renoworks visualization technology, giving you realistic previews of your future exterior before any work begins.
Start by getting a good base image of your home ready for design:
- Upload a photo: Choose a clear, front-facing photo of your home in .jpg or .png format. For best results, use a picture taken in good daylight with as few obstructions (cars, trash cans, heavy shadows) as possible.
- No photo handy? You can also select from sample homes inside the visualizer to get ideas and start experimenting with colors and materials right away.
Next, tell the tool which parts of the home you want to design:
- Draw outlines: Use the built-in tools to trace key areas such as siding, roofing, doors, windows, trim, or accents so products apply only where you want them.
- Refine your shapes: Adjust points and edges until the outlined areas match your home. The more accurate the outline, the more realistic the preview will look.
- Select surfaces: Click on the highlighted areas to work on one section at a time—this keeps your design organized and easy to manage.
This is where the fun begins—bring your ideas to life:
- Browse products: Explore available siding profiles, shingle styles, colors, window and door options, and more inside the visualizer’s product library.
- Apply to your home: Click an outlined surface, choose a product and color, and the visualizer will render it directly onto your image.
