Who Rode the 2018 Reds Caravan North Tour

The North Tour covered the Dayton stop. Here’s the lineup the Reds announced for it: a young left-handed pitcher, a catching prospect the Reds had drafted in the first round, two familiar voices from the broadcast booth, the man running baseball operations, and a mascot who never misses a photo.

For fans, that mix meant something for everyone. Kids could line up for autographs and pictures, longtime fans could ask the front office about the season ahead, and everyone could hear stories from the booth they usually only hear on TV.

Get Your Home Ready for Opening Day

The Caravan comes in the dead of winter, a reminder that winter storms can hit hard. While the Reds gear up for the season, use this preseason checklist for your home, and see our arctic blast field guide.

ShinglesLook for loose, curled, or missing shingles after winter wind.
GuttersClear gutters and downspouts so melting snow can drain.
DraftsCheck windows and doors for drafts while it’s cold enough to feel them.
AtticWatch for icicles and ice along the eaves, a sign of attic heat loss.

Found something? Our roofing and gutter teams can take a look. For more, read storm-proofing your home and is your home ready.
